NaNoWriCrap

I started NaNoWriMo again this year. NaNoWriMo is a “contest” meant to promote novel writing. Particpants are supposed to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. I did it last year with my Sea Isle City novel. I did it again in May during what I called NaNoWriMay with my novel called Doylestown.

This year, I’m doing it again, but this time I’m going to try to write 30 short stories or essays in 30 days totalling 50,000 words. The web badge for participants is to the right sidebar so you can see how I’m doing.

The website really sucks! Its the worst website I’ve been on since the days of the 14,400 baud rate modem style of navigating the web. It’s amazing. It’s supposedly powered by Amazon web services. I thought Amazon web services was supposed to scale up gracefully. Wow. If this is graceful I’d hate to see sucky. Cause this sucks.
